MenAlive recently wrapped up our annual gala, Harmony, and we wanted to thank everyone who joined us for such an incredible evening! One of the many highlights of the evening was presenting the 2023 Rich Cook Community Bridge Award.
The Rich Cook Community Bridge Awards are presented annually to honor those in the community who have made a positive impact in and for the LGBTQ community. The award continues to recognize distinguished members of the community who personify MenAlive’s mission of “informing, bringing healing, joy, friendship and building bridges to the public at large.”
MenAlive presented U.S. Representative Katie Porter and Retired Artistic Director Bob Gunn with the Rich Cook Community Bridge Awards this year.

The long awaited season finale concert of the 2021-22 season is now upon us and tickets are now on sale! Looking to the future and sharing chorus voices with the diverse community of artists making music and reflecting on the world around us. The voices and perspectives of these musicians combine, harmonize and sometimes clash to create a vibrant, exciting, and moving portrait of modern life. With an eye on where we have been, take a step forward as MenAlive brings to the stage the voices of a new generation, the voices of a wider community. I AM AMERICA will showcase a variety of today’s popular tunes including songs by Lizzo, Lil Nas X, Brothers Osborne, and many, many, more.
I AM AMERICA will be at The Barclay Theatre in Irvine on Saturday, July 16 at both 3:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. Tickets for both concerts are on sale now.
