Renowned domestically and internationally, Steve (he/him/his) comes to MenAlive with multiple decades of experience in all aspects of music. Steve has coached and directed singers in schools, churches, theatres, and performance stages across the United States. Nowadays he is a much sought-after conductor, clinician, composer, and arranger in the US and abroad.
VALERIE OUSLEY
EXECUTIVE director
After being a member of MenAlive for 18 years building relationships within the organization and the community, Valerie (she/her/hers) is thrilled to accept the position of Executive Director. Using her many talents, she has served the Chorus as Costume Manager; Backstage Manager; Governance Director, and eventually Vice President of the Board of Directors; and most recently, Chorus Manager. She has a passion for music and equality, and believes it to be her honor and privilege to serve this organization which has grown to become her extended family (and now that her son Brandon has joined the baritone section, her actual family, as well!). A business owner in Santa Ana for the past 22 years, she is excited to start this new journey in her career. As she has always done, Valerie will use her can-do attitude, ingenuity, dedication, and enthusiasm to further the mission of MenAlive, building bridges and inspiring the Orange County community.
