Dan Martin previously served on the Board from 2006 to 2012 starting as the Chorus-Nominated Board Member. He continued on the Board afterward and coordinated MenAlive’s considerable Outreach activities and served as Vice President. He left the board in 2012 to concentrate on his new career as Vice President, Branch Manager for Union Bank in Laguna Beach. He began his banking career 1996 with Downey Savings and Loan, then later First Federal Bank of CA which became the newly formed OneWest Bank in 2009 before settling into his new career with Union Bank in 2012. Dan has served on many boards to include the Mission Viejo Chamber of Commerce, OC Toasters and the Boys and Girls Club of Laguna Beach. Dan grew up in rural Oregon, the youngest of three children, and an accomplished athlete in high school, excelling in football and track. He also participated in his High School Show Choir, performing, choreographing and dancing as well as participating in drama where he held the leading role in Oklahoma and minor roles in Fiddler on the Roof, Brigadoon and played the cowardly lion in The Wizard of Oz. Although a love of the performing arts led Dan to MenAlive, he was also at a place in his life where he wanted to “find a positive influence and a strong core group of friends.” The chorus provides just that to everyone who comes in contact with this wonderful group of people. Dan resides in Laguna Beach and is proud to be part of such and amazing group of friends, family and talent.
